Tell it what you want doing. It answers with the same commands the palette takes, and runs them.

Meridian works signed out: everything lives on this device. Sign in with Google and the same tasks, habits and companion follow you to the phone and back. Only what you make in Meridian is carried; a Google calendar stays in Google.
Sign-in uses the same Google client ID as the calendar connection below. Add one there and this becomes a button.
Running as an installed appThis copy of Meridian has no database behind it, so nothing is being synced yet. Set MERIDIAN_DATABASE_URL to a Neon connection string and restart.

Booking links
bookedSign in and you can hand someone a link that shows only when you are free. They see a title, a length and some start times — never what any of it is.
A link shows your free working hours as bookable slots. Buffers and travel close a slot to a stranger exactly as they close it to you. Refresh a link whenever your week changes.
Booked
Travel time
Tell it once how long a place takes to reach and every event there is that much longer at each end, so the planner stops booking work into a train. Matched on any part of the location, so “office” covers “The Office, 3rd floor”. Video calls are never a journey.
Buffer time
Minutes either side of a meeting that the planner will not book over. Nothing is written to your calendar; the time is just no longer counted as free, which is also why a buffered day shows less capacity.
Your own time blocks and anything marked free are left alone.

Task lists
Subscribe to a calendar
In Apple Calendar: right-click a calendar → Share Calendar → tick Public Calendar, then copy the address. Outlook and Fastmail publish the same way. A subscribed calendar is read-only — it shows here and never writes back.
You can connect as many Google accounts as you like — work and personal come in side by side, each with its own calendars, and hiding one never touches the other.
Connecting Google needs a free OAuth client ID first (Google Cloud console → APIs & Services → Credentials → Web application), with the Calendar and Tasks APIs switched on and http://127.0.0.1:4321 listed as an authorised JavaScript origin. Google shows no button at all for an origin it has not been told about, which is the confusing way for this to fail.
AI scheduler
With this on, Plan my day asks a model to lay out your free windows instead of filling them in order. You see every block before anything is written, and whatever the model suggests is checked against the real gaps first. If it is slow or unreachable, the plain planner takes over.
Ollama keeps everything on this Mac. Groq and OpenRouter have free tiers; your day's titles and times are sent to them when you plan.
Tags
in useA tag decides which part of the terrarium a task grows, and gives the task list its filters. Pin the ones you want to keep around when nothing carries them.
No tags yet. Add one with #work in quick add.

On Mac, install from Safari or Chrome (Add to Dock / Install). On iPhone use the App Store build. A backup file moves everything, including the terrarium.
